| Example of augmented reality in Trump's "Duck Hunt GO". |
American business man and presidential candidate Donald Trump has decided to launch later today his own augmented reality app, taking advantage of the hype which currently surrounds Nintendo's newest smartphone app " Pokemon GO".
Called "Duck Hunt GO", this new smartphone game capitalizes on the nostalgia of mid-30 year olds for the video game of their childhood whereby they had to shoot wild ducks on their 1985 Nintendo consoles using the famous gray plastic gun.
"Lemme tell you somethin'. Mah new game reflegs America. Lemme tell you that this game, reflegs the way Ah see America", said M. Trump to our journalist before preparing his speech for the Republican National Convention.
In the game, instead of using a plastic gun, players will need to use a real gun (or any other lethal firearm) and move around public areas with their smartphones up which, with the integrated camera, will superimpose images of wild ducks flying around to be shot.
Game designers didn't know what to answer when they were asked what they thought about having the birds fly only in the sky, and not on ground level...
